Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 15, 2025

At Logic Volt, we take your privacy seriously. This isn't just legal boilerplate—we actually care about how your information gets handled. Our financial analysis platform deals with sensitive business data, and we understand that trust starts with transparency.

This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and what we do with it. If something here doesn't make sense or you have questions, reach out to us at info@logic-volt.com. We're real people and we'll give you real answers.

Operating in Thailand

Logic Volt operates from Thailand and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) B.E. 2562 (2019). This law gives you specific rights about your personal data, and we respect those completely. Since we serve clients across different regions, we also align our practices with international standards where applicable.

Our physical location is 47/10 Soi 1, Huai Khrai, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai 57220, Thailand. That's where your data gets processed and where our team works.

What Information We Collect

Information You Give Us Directly

When you sign up for our profitability analysis services or reach out to us, you'll share some basic information. Here's what we typically collect:

  • Your name and business contact details (email, phone number)
  • Company information and business type
  • Financial data you upload for analysis purposes
  • Payment information when you subscribe to our services
  • Communications you send us through contact forms or email

Information We Collect Automatically

Like most websites, we gather some technical information when you use our platform. This helps us keep things running smoothly and spot any issues:

  • IP address and general location data (city/region level, not your exact address)
  • Browser type, device information, and operating system
  • Pages you visit and features you use on our platform
  • Time stamps and session duration
  • Referring websites and search terms that brought you here

Important note: Financial data you upload for analysis stays in your account. We don't share it with third parties for marketing purposes, and we don't use it to train AI models or sell to data brokers.

How We Use Your Information

We're not collecting data just for the sake of it. Everything we gather serves a specific purpose:

Purpose What We Do
Service Delivery Process your financial data, generate profitability reports, and provide analysis tools you've subscribed to
Account Management Create and maintain your account, handle authentication, and manage your subscription status
Communication Send you service updates, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support when needed
Platform Improvement Analyze usage patterns to fix bugs, improve features, and enhance overall user experience
Security Detect fraud, prevent unauthorized access, and protect both your data and our systems
Legal Compliance Meet our obligations under Thai law and maintain necessary business records

We won't use your information for purposes beyond what's listed here without getting your explicit consent first.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We keep data sharing to a minimum. Your financial information is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Here's the complete picture of when and why we might share your data:

Service Providers We Work With

Some trusted partners help us run the platform. They only get access to what they need to do their job:

  • Hosting providers that store our data on secure servers
  • Payment processors that handle subscription billing (they never see your full financial records)
  • Email service providers for sending you notifications and updates
  • Analytics tools that help us understand how people use the platform (with anonymized data)

All these providers are bound by contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only for the specific services they provide to us.

Legal Requirements

Sometimes we're legally required to share information. This might happen if:

  • Thai authorities issue a valid legal request
  • We need to enforce our terms of service
  • There's a genuine safety concern or fraud investigation
  • We're involved in a business transaction like a merger (you'd be notified)

We've never sold user data to third parties, and we don't plan to start. Your business information isn't a product we're peddling to advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights Under Thai Law

Thailand's PDPA gives you real control over your personal data. These aren't just theoretical rights—we've set up actual processes so you can exercise them.

Access Your Data

Request a copy of all personal information we hold about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within 30 days.

Correct Inaccuracies

If something in your account is wrong or outdated, you can update it yourself or ask us to correct it.

Delete Your Data

Request deletion of your account and associated data. Some information might need to be retained for legal reasons, but we'll explain that clearly.

Data Portability

Get your data in a format you can take to another service. We'll export it in CSV or JSON format upon request.

Restrict Processing

Ask us to pause certain uses of your data while you sort out concerns or disputes.

Object to Processing

You can object to how we're using your data in specific situations, and we'll review your request carefully.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@logic-volt.com with your request. We'll need to verify your identity (for security reasons), but then we'll process your request within 30 days as required by law.

How We Protect Your Data

Security isn't something we tacked on as an afterthought. Our platform was built with data protection in mind from day one.

Technical Measures

  • All data transmission uses TLS encryption (that's the padlock you see in your browser)
  • Financial data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing to find vulnerabilities
  • Automated backup systems with encrypted storage
  • Multi-factor authentication available for all accounts

Organizational Measures

  • Access to user data is restricted to employees who need it for their work
  • Staff training on data protection and privacy practices
  • Incident response procedures in case of any security breach
  • Regular review and updates of our security policies

No system is 100% secure—anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. But we take every reasonable precaution, and if something does go wrong, we'll notify affected users promptly as required by law.

Data Retention

We don't keep your data forever. Here's how long different types of information stick around:

  • Active account data: Retained while your subscription is active and for 90 days after cancellation (in case you want to reactivate)
  • Financial analysis data: Kept for 12 months after your last session, then automatically deleted unless you're still an active user
  • Transaction records: Maintained for 7 years to comply with Thai accounting and tax regulations
  • Support communications: Archived for 3 years to help resolve any recurring issues
  • Technical logs: Automatically purged after 90 days unless needed for ongoing security investigations

When data reaches the end of its retention period, we securely delete it. That means overwriting it multiple times so it can't be recovered.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies. Everyone does these days. But we try to keep it reasonable:

Essential Cookies

These keep the platform working—handling your login session, remembering your preferences, and maintaining security. You can't really opt out of these without breaking the site.

Analytics Cookies

These help us understand how people use Logic Volt so we can improve it. We use anonymized data and don't track you across other websites. You can disable these in your browser settings if you prefer.

We don't use advertising cookies or share cookie data with ad networks. Your browsing behavior on our platform stays private.

International Data Transfers

Our servers are primarily located in Thailand, but some of our service providers operate globally. When your data needs to leave Thailand, we make sure it's protected:

  • We only work with providers in countries that Thai authorities recognize as having adequate data protection
  • Where that's not possible, we use standard contractual clauses approved under international frameworks
  • We regularly review where data is stored and processed

If you have concerns about where your data is stored, contact us and we can provide specific details about data locations for your account.

Children's Privacy

Logic Volt is a business-to-business platform focused on profitability analysis. Our services aren't designed for or marketed to anyone under 18 years old. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover we've accidentally collected data from someone under 18, we'll delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We update this privacy policy occasionally as our practices evolve or laws change. When we make significant changes, we'll notify active users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Minor updates (like fixing typos or clarifying existing practices) might happen without notification, but we'll always update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continuing to use Logic Volt after policy changes means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with changes, you can close your account before they take effect.

Filing Complaints

If you believe we've mishandled your personal data or violated your privacy rights, here's what you can do:

  1. Contact us first at info@logic-volt.com. We'll investigate and respond within 15 days.
  2. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
  3. You also have the right to seek remedies through Thai courts if necessary.

We'd genuinely prefer to resolve concerns directly before things escalate to formal complaints, so please give us a chance to make things right.

Questions About Your Privacy?

We're here to help. If anything in this policy is unclear or you have specific questions about how we handle your data, reach out to us.
